Our story
From access provider to performance platform
360Dialog was founded in Berlin in 2012 as a mobile app marketing platform. When WhatsApp opened its Business API to companies in 2018, we saw where business messaging was going, and in 2020 we put the whole company behind it.
We started with direct, uncomplicated API access. That attracted developers and software companies, so we built the Partner Platform for ISVs and resellers. When businesses wanted to run marketing on WhatsApp, we added Performance Messaging. When they needed to prove what those campaigns earned, we built 360Pilot for WhatsApp attribution and measurement.
Everything we build runs on the official API
360Dialog is infrastructure. We do not build chatbots, our partners do.

Gerrit Rode-Wilke
Managing Director and Co-Founder
Gerrit joined 360Dialog in 2012 as Director of Business Development and has been Managing Director since 2019. He leads company strategy and go-to-market, including the partnership with Meta. Before 360Dialog, he was Group Account Director at Aura Interactive.
Robert Konopka
Managing Director and CTO
Robert leads technology and product at 360Dialog, including the WhatsApp API infrastructure that businesses and partners build on. He has been a Managing Director since 2024. He holds a Diplom in Physics from the Technical University of Munich.
Daniela Schmitz
General Manager LATAM
Daniela leads 360Dialog in Latin America from São Paulo. She brings more than 20 years of experience in marketing and advertising across startups and technology companies.
